Driver seat motor appears to have died

I read the threads on "half of" the drivers seat front to back motion going bad - seems to be a gear issue as opposed to a motor issue. My issue is different - my seat will tilt, recline and go up and down, but it will not go front and back. When the seat control is pushed forward or back, there's just a click (like a relay click), but nothing happens. This is an issue because my wife occasionally drives my car and it is currently pushed the whole way back - not idea for even me, though I can make due. Other than a salvage yard, is anyone aware of a place where I could buy just the motor? Does anyone think that it's something other than the motor?
 
To me I had the same problem and my one was a gear issue if I was you I pull it down and make sure is not a gear that's going bad.

Same thing happened to me I took it to the mechanic they put a air hose in the tracks to clean all the dust and it started running again. I know I still have the gear issue cuz one side drags the other but at least it moves. I just put it in a position where my and my girl both can reach that way we don't have to move it. Lol
