Driver seat cushion replacement?

Has anybody found a reasonably priced source for a driver's side seat cushion, or even just the replacement fabric? Mine is torn up, and I'm afraid an upholstery shop won't be able to match the perforated fabric (heated seats) properly.

The price of the stock seat bottom is ridiculous and everything used online is beat up. I'd bring your car to a reputable upholstery shop and see what they say about the texture match. I had my entire front seat done and it came out beautiful. Good luck

Roughly how much did it cost u? I know it varies but I have no idea on ballpark cost.

Thanks for the replies, I've been looking on ebay every few days but haven't found an 06-08 cushion in black yet... may have to go the re-upholstery route.

Honestly you're hoping for a 6-8 yr old cushion in great shape; not likely.

Upholstery guys know what's up

Do they have to remove the seat from the car to repair that infamous side panel that falls apart? The fabric continues below the plastic trim piece and I wasnt sure if you can just remove that trim piece and repair in the car or not.

They're going to pull the seat in order to measure/cut/stitch/glue/whatever. No sense in doing it inside the car since as others said it comes out so quickly. Just make sure you plug the seat back in before you turn the car on or your airbag light may come on.
