Anyone on here have a drill-less front liscence plate holder? I got bumper plugs for my FX, and I'm looking to get a drill-less front plate holder. Any idea's besides the expensive Stillen one?

Stillen is the only "drill less' model I have seen. If it were 20 bucks less (price is just rediculous) and another four inches more offset I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I bought an adjustable frame and its ready to mount up. It has been riding in the back of my ride for three weeks (got it just after my last plate ticket....)

Thinking about just using black zip ties instead then lol. Or making my own mount. I hate having a front plate!

I took my plate bracket off. Plugged the holes up. I made two L brackets and made two small holes on the underside of the bumber next to my right fog light. You can't see the holes unless your laying on the ground looking behind the plate. They also sell a piece that screws into our tow hook to hold the license plate.

Would you have some pictures.?

I have been driving for 14 years and not one of my cars has had a front plate. It is required in MA, however I have always had the holes filled at a body shop and the front bumper re-sprayed. I have never been pulled over for it and never received a fine. Front plates are aweful looking and IMO ruin the look of any car. For inspections, I take the factory bracket and double-sided tape (blue painter's masking tape) it to the bumper. Holds with no issues during the inspection and peels right off immediately after.

My suggestion, enjoy the asthetics of your vehicle and TAKE THOSE FRONT PLATES OFF!

I hope I'm not cursing myself by saying this but I have not run a front plate in years and been lucky so far no tickets. I have a contingency plan to attach it to the lower grill just to get any fix it ticket I may get signed off and then remove it again.

lol wow you guys are so lucky. These kind of things would never pass here in NY. I've had tinted windows for 3 months already and received over a couple of tickets for it already. No front plate at all would just make me more obvious haha.

Not in LA/Beverly Hills. No plate is just asking for a ticket. Sucks

^ Yup. As I said above I received a "no plate" ticket three weeks ago. Normal day, normal conditions, normal amount of cars, cop had to work to chase me down. Frigging city revenue grab....I have the frame all set up for install but I'll run plateless for a while longer. Thinking that the way things are going I'll be mounting up the LP eventually. Many years, many cars no plates and then BAM - ticket.

Texas/Houston used to be laxed about it....1 warning in 7 years or so. Since every department is scrambling to make up for any budget losses they started ticketing for it again.

Some cars obviously still get a pass, usually high end marques, exotics, C6 vettes (for some reason), etc.

yet I have no frt plate on my ride, lol
I think I'll put it on right after my scoot to Vegas in a couple weeks.
It doesnt fit with the bra, & I'm dfntly gonna wear it. Dessert bugs are big & juicy.
