Drill and slotted rotors

Hi Guys

install 2 new front rotors today (Drill and slotted) looks great. but when I brake it make a rough sound/noise. Mechanic said that's normal, bcoz of the drill holes it makes a rough noise. I seen some members have those rotors. this noise, is it a normal thing?

nah that doesnt sound right to me bro.
when i get my rotorpros in it didnt have any sound to it at all
you probably might need new brake pads or so
or he just installed it wrong

Dopie everything is new rotors & pads. I don't know I'm gonna check it again tomorrow.

mine did same until I put little metal backer plate chingaderas back on.

I put drilled and slotted rotors on my QX4 and had that same noise after changing them out as well.

I call the manufacturer they said it's normal for few weeks & it will disappear after ceramic pads & the rotors blend. lets see.....

I have the R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors on my G coupe and they don't make that noise anymore.

The Axxis Ultimates are great pads, but they dust quite a bit.
