Drag meet at Cal Speedway - Oct.27, 2007 & Mar. 8, 2008

A couple of video's from the drags yesterday. I wish we had more but our camera man had to work real late the night before and didn't get home till 6am so we were short handed. And the replacement crew was hung over and was left stranded on the road due to an FX54 breakdown on the road. What a day! :tongue::laugh::wink:

Whats guys,,,,glad everyone had a great time!!!! I was good to see faces to go with the names. Didn't want to race, car is still just stock also couldn't get my wife to get up early to make tech!!!! Great turn out with just a few of us, just seeing other FX'ers is nice to see. Hopefully I can get a +2 bump in December event or even sooner if thats possible? Let me know if anyone can help me out on that. Can we get together in Westchester anytime soon??

I'l let him tell the story but he just had a mishap on the way to get lunch from the track. I don't know what exactly happened but it is was towed to the dealer yesterday.

I Ran an 18 on my first run w/ Pierce cuz I dont ever drive the FX in Manual mode - but I tried it on that run - and I was also concentrating and getting a better Reaction Time (which I improved from the Civic run)but totally forgot I was in manual so midway down the track I hit the rev-limiter and so i realized that I was in Manual I pulled the shifter down (as in goin into 2nd gear in a REAL manual tranny) so 3/4's down I got it to shift and said F it Docs already getting his time slip at this point so I just cruised it to the finish line - hahaha. :laugh:
 
Sorry about your situation Humberto and that you missed out on more runs after all the waiting. Hopefully you will get the problem resolved for good and you will be able to make it to the track the next time.
 
I think my days with the FX are at their end. Just had allot of issues and incidents that have arrised since I got the FX. Maybe I need a new car..

I am just so frustrated right now..
 
Now now, you know you are not thinking clearly right now. So give it a little time and see what the dealer has to say then make a rational decision.
 
Hang in there. It's not the ride. Youre just having a shitty year. Good things come to good people, & I know youre at the head of the line. But maybe hold out for the GTR :wub:

Hang in there buddy, I know you love the FX more than anybody on this forum.
Talk about bad luck...I had my Transmission blown, Rear-Axel broke, Towed my FX probably 4~5 times, Motor Mount broke, replaced whole pumpkin, many bearing problems, oil leak problems, Engine belt problem, fuel tank replaced, ECU getting wet due to not properly sealed by so-called proffessional shops...many more!!! But I'm still here enjoying my FX AGAIN!! I blamed on FX too, but after it's just me having a bad year you know? My car looks stock and not so cool like it used to be, but man! peace of mind...I'm loving it everyday now :) If you need someone to go over there and buy you some cold beer let me know :)

By the way...I just saw the clip...You vs Doc...Doc just SMOKED you!!!! hahahaha OWNED!!
Will might have chance to smoke your FX54...haha j/k
I wish I was there to hang with you all...Man...i wanna race Dave so bad...I will SMOKE you! hahaha
hope to be able to go to the next event.
