Drag meet at Cal Speedway - Oct.27, 2007 & Mar. 8, 2008

Slips show my car # as the winner on both slips......so in the books I am the winner. Cant help if my opponant sleeps when the light turns green :err:. Am gonna scan the slips now - Took a lil power nap and I'm good now.

BTW - I was the only 35 guy there and the 45 guys (3 of them) arent gonna say admit that a 35 beat them.

Bring it... Your Ass is mine in April...

Ja Ja.... Good to see my Borthers out there on the track with me and also Ken for coming along.

I must confess that I was actually happy to see my Homie Will get the results that he has been looking for so far in his journey...

I just need to practice on my launch and I will make due.. Pierce was good enough to give me a crash course on getting the best launch out of my STOCK 45..

I feel so bad for letting my 45 brothers down but like I said "I will make due in April"...

Can't wait to see the pics...

Edit on the last slip (far right) the names are reveresed. Dr2k was on the left lane and I was on the right lane. On the slips some of the 8's look like 0's.
Best time today was a 15.739 @ 89.02 MPH (run # 3) with a ..084 reaction time.

are they 15.8 or 15.0's?

on run #2
it should be
15.837 @ 87.40 MPH

The printer there was getting wacky.
I'm pretty happy with the improvements - in October my best was a 16.257 @ 84.41 MPH.

oops, you're quicker than me.
Great improvement. Were the conditions that different, & what was the method of launch on this round v. last time you guys went?

Glad you guys had a goodtime!

I tried my best to represent Brown.....
But in reality if you take the reaction time out of the equation its only 1 or 2 tenths of a second that separate me from a stock 45. Dr.2k on the other hand its like a 7 tenths. So I can hang in there with them V8 guys.

sounds like you guys had a good time. wish I could have made it but I was stuck at work.

Do any of you race with 22's?

Ok here are my timeslips...Best run was my 3rd run 15.020 sec@90.75mph.

I had my Gtech today and I took reading during my 2nd and 3rd runs. Both differed significantly from the track time slips on the 1/4 mile. Take it for what its worth.

0-60 = 5.67 (2nd run) ; 6.07 (3rd run)
1/4 mile = 14.05 sec@100.8mph (2nd run); 15.14 sec @92mph (3rd run)

Videos and pictures coming.....

Ya, looks like the 3rd run Gtech is accurate. 2nd run is wacked. 5s would be great, but flat six is still nice. Clips tonite?

3rd was off as well in HP compared to the 2nd run. This thing is fickle. But i will take it again the next time and see if anything changes.

Pics and vids coming in a few.

I have aftermarket 20's :embarrassed:
Dr.2k has track wheels that he uses which are 19's.
HumbertoCali uses his stocks for the track.

Good numbers doc, the 2nd run seems to be pretty accurate. based on your 0-60 times (0-60 in 6) i am kind of surprised Will is not a lot closer (no offense to you dude). i would think he would be no more than 3 tenths of a second off, but i guess thats 0-60, translating that difference to a 1/4 mile the difference would be a lot more
