Door Open Indicator Light Stays On !

I have a 2004 FX 45 and my issue is the the door open warning light comes on randomly. The doors lock and open remotely with no problem. But while I am driving the door open indicator light comes on in both the dash and the GPS screen. I have several people who have looked at it with no luck.
 
Have you look at the hatch lock module mounted behind the rear hatch trim panel.
 
try this, ignition on, all doors close, try to pry between each doors with a plastic trim remover or flat head screw driver. you might have a bad door light switch.
 
It was the back latch assembly, on the 2004 the sensor and the latch are one unit. So unfortunately I had the dealer replace them both @ $450.00. This is for future reference for FX45 owners. Everything works fine now and I have one year warranty on parts and labor. :smile (2):
