Hello, I really need some detailed help please. My sons 05 FX35 has 3 of the 4 doors not locking/unlocking and also the hatch has stopped as well now. I have the kits off ebay but need detailed instructions as I had seen guys say they had to cut up the door lock assemblies making them useless if the kits dont hold up and have to buy new actuators. I need somebody to guide me if I need to cut them or not, or if it these kits work with parts I was sent. I had seen other guys also say with the kits you will need extra items and refer to usactuators but they wont respond to calls or emails in 2 months or so I guess they are out of business?
The other issue I need clarified is I read where if the passenger door is locked the hatch wont unlock either which I found out is true by unlocking passenger door and the hatch button did work but only about 3 times and went dead. I then pulled the #15 fuse for the hatch and reinstalled and the hatch will work every time I do that for maybe one or 2 times and goes dead again until you pull fuse and reinstall. The fuse is not blown each time, just seems to "reset" the hatch for a couple of times. I want to start with passenger door lock as I think that could fix the hatch as well but just not sure where to go on all of this. if somebody could please help that would be great and I am in Phoenix AZ area if anybody knows specialist that could install these kits or understands these issues that are inherent to these cars.
