Or honk i geuss. i was messing with my personalized settings and found an option that said something like horn chirp when doors locked; yes/no, or something like that. mine says yes but no chirpy when set? am i retarded or is my car, i mean truck, sorry suv, oops cuv...:sad:
 
my horn honks when i hit the lock on the fob, but it beeps like a lexus when i use the button on the handles and rear hatch.
 
It's probably been deactivated by pressing the lock and unlock buttons on your remote. If you want to change it back press both buttons for about 15 seconds or so. I don't like the noise so I deactivated mine as soon as I got it.
 
mine just flashes the parking lights... so it's silent the way I like it... my last car was the same... IMO, when it honks... it reminds me of the 80's :dontknow:

...used to be the biggest metallica fan pre-black, just recently ran into Hetfield hangin out at a magazine rack at a hotrod show and he was the biggest asshole. he was totally undercover and wouldnt even shake my hand? made me want to download their latest crappy album...

I'm like you... I guess you can call it "the Cliff Burton years"... their best stuff were from the first 3 albums then... "...and Justice" and "Garage Days..." were pretty good too. Then came Bob Rock's and MTV's "Black" album :ever:.

...here's my take on celebrity sightings... (and I'm in NO WAY defending James), when I see them, I don't even acknowledge them. The way I see it... they're people too... and if their cover is blown it can take them an hour to get from the grocery store entrance to their car. In this case, James obviously has a passion for hotrods and his visit to the show would've been done for the day had his cover been blown. After years of this, I'm sure he's sick of it. Honestly tho? If I had been you and felt dissed... I would've said something like "HEY! You're the lead singer to that band... Alice in Chain, RIGHT??!!" just to piss him off :laugh:.

For years I lived in Dana Point and visited Laguna Beach quite often... and there were always celeb sightings... A long time ago... I also had to go out to Gold's Gym of Venice for some kind of training.... twice a week for 6 months... and yeah, saw a kinds of celebs... it actually felt good to pretend that I didn't know who they were. :dontknow:

I think the only person I would approach is Eric Clapton or Johnny Depp... I hear he's really cool with fans.

Man my kids mess with my keys all the time and I had no idea what they had did or what was wrong but I knew if I searched it I would find someone with the same problem as me.. I had checked all the settings and still couldn't get my horn to honk when I locked my doors, it was really getting on my nerves that it wasn't working I was ready to pull all fuses out and change them or call the :( Dealer (Evil word) lol.. Thanks so much IlovemyFX, all is fantastic and chirpy :) now .
