Does the Sea Foam process work on the FX45's too?

Just wondering if anyone has done the Sea Foam deal on a 45 that I see the FX35 guys doing? I just hit 60K in my '04 and for some reason it seems a little sluggish and kind of lags at take off, but maybe im just crazy lol.

Seafoam helps and works on all cars, process is the same.

does anyone know where to find the vacuum line for an 05 fx45
please help!!! i went and bought seafoam vacuum hose thinking ill find the ni[pple
like the one shown on pic but could't find it.... damn so i added it to my fuel tank only
if anyone knows please let me know,,,,, pic will be help fil too!!!!
 
Hey guys,

Recently I get pretty much blue smoke from the exhaust of my '04 FX45 with 70k. Not always but now and than. I haven't figured out any regularity on that. On an other forum I was told to seafoam it and that should do the trick but I'm a little afraid of damaging something.
And since I live in Germany (and you can't get it over here) I have to import it from the US which cost me about 50$ for shipping, tax, import fees... for a can of pure petrleum!?!

Can you not just use regular petroleum from the hardware store? What do you think?
 
I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone ever found a vacuum line to the plenum for the FX45? I've used the seafoam on my old Tacoma a few times, and now I was hoping to do the same for the FX. I have about 126K on it now and I'd like to know it won't start smoking any time soon. thanks
 
Last yr i did it to my 45 and i founf a vacuum line near the master cylinder. u will see when u open the plastic cover by the brake fluid and used one of the lines from there lol

When i put my finger by it it sucked my finger so i assumed it was vacuum and just pour it lol.

I could be wrong but it did smoke alil so i think its right but someone will chime in ^^
