yeah that goes form any mod ranging from springs to putting different LEDs in.
i'm pretty sure he just meant in general does it void the warranty: the answer is no.
If something breaks and it was caused by the springs (which most likely will not happen) then it is not under warranty
Pro from springs - lower car = better aerodynamics = better MPGs. If you do a lot of highway driving, it is noticeable.
I had the sport tuned suspension and got Eibachs. My personal experience is that they feel better than my OEM ride. I also have GTSpec bracing, so that plays into a stiffer suspension.

The lowering springs will only drop you 1.2" to 1.5" depending on witch springs you go with.
Love my eibachs and kyb's . I'd do the kyb's at the same time if they fit your application. With the 1in wheelspacers and good tires, the car rotates nicely.
I'm pretty sure it's by law that they cannot void a warranty for aftermarket parts with the exception of warranty issues that can be directly attributed to the areas affected by the aftermarket parts (as stated earlier).
