Depends on where the box is going... with or without wheel wells, etc?

Well were you looking to get something like this for example?

If that's the case, simple measurements will not do. That's why I was ax'in about wheel wells.

WOW, thats hella clean and nice.. but thats alittle out of my budget haha, i was just htinking of a box to fit in there, and i needed the measurements so i can get the biggest box possible.

Wow I'm not even into sound like that but that setting make me want to do something similar for my FX.. That's really neat!:ehh:

The measurement is not easy to get. A few things you need to consider is that this box is not rectangular. it curves off at the wheelwells. it's made to sit between the rear seat and the rear cover bar. However, it causes the rearseats to be slightly upright and you need to get the dept just right. In order to make this box, you need to measure it in your own FX. Slight off set of covers, seat adjustments, and materials covering the box will make the box not fit.

Here are some pics to give you an idea.

I would recommend making the box deeper and having an angle to it so that you can measure it as the seats are slightly reclined. If you were to make it as shallow as his is, but yet make it angled in the back so that seats can recline, you'll reduce a lot of your effective volume and might not even be able to fit anything but shallow subs in there.

That being said, I think the absolute best sub box would be either FXtion's except allowing seat recline, or two individual custom-fitted boxes on each side above or to the rear of each wheel well, with the factory sub removed for fitting an amplifier.
