When I bought my FX35 from the dealer, the aluminum skid plates in the trunk were scratched a little and I just noticed it. Now there getting even more scratched and I think it looks like shit. Do you think I can get the dealer to give me a new one under warranty? I think it's crazy that I'll have to spend like $100+ for news ones. Should I attempt this at my next oil change for them to give me a new one:tdown:?

I highly doubt they will give you a new one but hey it won't cost you anything to ask.

did you know there is a transparent platic wrapping on metal plate area??? mine was all fucked up too and got scratch up really fast than one day i was bore and started picking at the edge of the plate and there is a piece of plastic protecting it. If you've never touch it i think its still there i doubt the dealership would rip it off.

Metal don't generally scratch up that easily and that quickly. Check first :) you may decide to just leave it like that

I'll try then.

My friend complained about his driver seat wrinkling and creasing so easily on his M35x, and the dealer replaced the whole lower seat cushion for him for free under warranty. I also backed up over my trash can lid in the driveway cracking my passenger side mudflap, and the dealer replaced it for free under warranty.

So I don't know....

Hey threezero I checked before to see if the protective film is still there and it's not.

I don't think they will cover that I recent ask my dealer to replace the trim around the windshield because the protective coating is peeling and they said they do not cover plastic. Also, if they were to replace it and damage to windshield I would have to pay for a new windsheild, which to me sounds bogus.

Has anyone notice the protective coating on the trim of the windshield peeling and did you have it covered under warrenty. Just want to make sure the dealer is not pulling my leg on this.
