DMV Meet-DC/MD/VA - Feb 21st

Earlier is fine with me. Bill is only 17 miles from my house. I am right off Connecticut Avenue, one block in DC from Chevy Chase, Maryland. So I was just going to take Connecticut to Georgia Avenue and then whatever streets from there to reach his place.
 
Is this open to any DMVer's interested? Been on the org, new on the scene. Will have smoke tail lights and maybe a secret weapon intake to install.

Thats cool too, you are basically right around the corner, Rubare and I are coming up 95 to 495 to Georgia Ave.

Great! Will Pick zx12rtoo up and meet me and toni at Georgia av. All we need it's a place AT Georgia av where we can find each other. I think me an toni will meet somewhere in waldorf and from there caravan to meet you guys. How does that sound ?

Just so things can go smoothly from the beginning, I'd like to make some general garage bay assignments. You guys get to pick who goes first :laugh:

if you are doing tail light lens swap, That will be in either the first or last bay, the ones closest to the front or back of the house.

The braces will be done in the middle bay.

Everyone will need to back their cars in, this should also make for a good picture of the meet. It will probably go smoother if you van pre-position your cars when you arrive and park.

So... Start flippin' those coins:wink::laugh:
 
Good thinking Bill!! I have a great feeling that this will be a awesome meet. I don't mind being the last guy to get mod work on. In fact I will be glad to help the new guys work on theirs.. Also I do agree with Bill on the fact that we haven't set time to be at Bill's house.

For those that haven't meet up with DMV yet trust me, time flys by when we as modding our FXs. So we need to get there early. So I would set up a time line and you guys tell me if it work for you.
Toni and I will meet up around 7:30 and will start the caravan towards georgia av around 0735. Hopefully there won't be no traffic and we will make it there 0800-0815. Don't know how long it will take for the DC guys to get there but let's hope we will be heading towards Bill's house at 0900. With good traffic will be there within an hour so make that 1000-1030.

1. Toni and I meet at 0730
2. Head towards georgia av at 0735
3.0800-0830 arrive at georgia av
4.0900 on our way to bill's house
5.1000-1030 arrive at bill's house
6.1035 everyone get together and intro them self once again and let's get the modding on!!!!!

Time range can be flexible.. So tell me if it work for you guys.. Also we need a place at georgia av so we can meet at!

I think if we leave by 8:00 we can be at Georgia Ave, at the Safeway (I think its a Safway, or whatever grocery store), right down the street from the Bus/Metro station their in Wheaton on the right across from the Mall.

So toni you think that if we leave by 0800 from waldorf we will be able to make it to georgia av(safeway) by 0830?

Nae bring your lower grill. Seriously we have lots of fun when we are working on our FX. If we have time to install the grill we will defenely do it. The only thing holding us back it the time( which move way tooooooo freaking fast when modding our FXs)

Well you are talking about meeting at Bill's place at 10:00-10:30, so leaving at 8:00 is more than enough time. Takes about 35-40 mins to get to the Safeway, and another 30 mins maybe to Bill's. I suggest we hook up with zx12 around 8:30 off exit 17A since he is coming up from VA via the Wilson Bridge, their is Outback Steakhouse on Lotford Rd, the immediate next Right turn after coming off the hwy, and then we can all roll on up to Bills from there.
 
Well that sounds like a plan toni. I thougt that DG2 and zx12 live close to each other? I thought they were going to roll together. So I guess that if we meet up zx12 at exit 17A them D2G will be with him right? Or not?

I am in upper Northwest Washington, DC and zx12rtoo is in Woodbridge, VA. I plan on just driving directly to Bill's house, since it will only take me about 15 or 20 minutes from my house.

There is an Outback Steakhouse off exit 17a, at 9660 Lottsford Ct, Hyattsville, MD. I think after you come off of 95, go down too Lottsford Rd and its on the right we can meet their about 8:30, unless you know of another spot that is good for you off of 95.

Ok, so upon arrival, Here's the plan

D2G you are going to be in the front (of house) garage bay, Toni will be in the Middle bay, and Johnathan will in the back bay. That way we can do the tail-lights in parallel first. Then move on to Toni's suspension work. When we're done with D2G, then Zx12rtoo can pull in to do his intake.

Everyone will need to back their cars in (except zx12rtoo), so park accordingly. We'll guide you in one at a time to maximize the space.

Does that make sense?

As for tools, I think I only need a screwdriver, and and adjustable wrench, right?
 
You beat me to it Toni. So the plan is, we will meet up at the outback at 0830? Toni are we meeting first somewhere else all we all meeting there?
