Pull off the AC belt altogether, and start the cold car with it a few days. If your problem goes away then perhaps this is the issue.

I replaced my Nissan given (590cca 3 year old) battery with an 800cca new battery and the issue completely went away. So that isn't something I would be able to test. However, that doesn't mean that my a/c clutch isn't disengaging causing more stress on startup.

I'll be the guinea pig on this one and do some on/off tests over the next weeks, but Im curious how to get that damn AC belt off with the clutch fan in the way. Does the clutch fan need to come off first because the belt definitely isnt big enough to fit around it? FX45 btw
