I tinted my rear reflectors with 35% tail/headlight tint film.

It is self adhesive, so its sticky on one side.

did you use a heatgun on it? heat is a key for those films/vinyls to mold and stick well.

A heat gun/blow dryer makes the tint stick/stretch kinda like vinyl wrapping

Hey just wondering if I end up doing this should I use the heat gun on low or high? Just am wondering if I need to be worried about melting stuff.

Yup. Low temp and far away. Real easy to shrink/wrinkle the film with too much heat

i can get the tint from any decal place? any specifics?

Yes... just don't buy WINDOW film. WINDOW tint film is different from taillight/headlight tint film.
Window tint film doesn't stretch.
Tail/Headlight tint film does. That's what you'll need.
Also I used 35% tint film on my tails.. I think? Dave posted a link to the film he bought.
