DIY installing noise insulation

Comments I hope very much not needed. I can say that the master tried and it turned out great.

Did it all, from Tuesday to Sunday (other than Shumkov still did exhaust, grille, lights and DRL)

And this miracle cost 30 000 rubles = 1 000 USD
Nothing superfluous after the dismantling / assembly remained, nothing rattles, no knocks no buzzing.
The result of this work are very pleased

Looks like something you would see when the car is left on the side of the road for months in a bad neighborhood. Lol. Can't imagine the in cabin noise now. Probably issue left is wind noise from the windows.

Minkl81, 1000$ is nothing for such thing in Russia. For such an operation, at least in Moscow take 45 000-50 000, is about $ 1500.

Looks incredible.

I haven't done an insulation mod yet. Never really done any car audio, but I will soon. The FX50 is a comparatively lighter SUV to offset the extra weight of the insulation.

I do like light-weight, but I'm suddenly considering this for at least the doors. They seem lighter than I'm used to in other luxury cars.

I did an undercoating modification. I like it. I am told this cuts down on noise as well as prevents rusting, but many people prefer not to get it. Rubberized undercoat isn't expensive if you do it yourself, or get it done somewhere other than a dealership.
