2010 FX 50s
Hi all,

I'm looking for a DIY or instructions on how to adjust the headlights on a 2010 FX50 with the adaptive headlights. I haven't found anything in my searches.

Just had the front of the FX repainted and the lights replaced and they are aimed way to high... ;)

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. The service manual has the procedure... the screw hole for the adjustment is a bit odd looking... so if you are looking for a "screw" to use the screw driver on you'll be looking forever ;) There's a slot in the rubber side trim with a small embossed headlight symbol. Inside there is a small hole with the teeth of a white plastic cog showing... you insert a phillips screwdriver into the hole such that the screw driver teeth mesh with the two showing teeth of the larger cog and turn... this turns the wheel and adjusts the lamp up (clockwise) or down (counter clockwise). Very simple.

The service manual has the full procedure on page 223 of the "EXL" portion of the service manual.

Would you or anybody be able to make a short clip or snap some pics of how to do this?/ Find what you mention above, would appreciate it thanks
