Disabling autmatic door locking if door is not opened

I recently installed the remote start alarm on my fx. Does anyone here know how to disable the feature of automatic door locking. Basically when I unlock the doors but not open them they lock automatically after some time. I need to disable this feature since it conflicts with the alarm.
 
I'm also wondering if there's a way to disable the automatic door locks. Sometimes i just get in my car real quick to go to the store (takes 2 minutes) and i always have to unlock the doors when i get there, kind of annoying when there's no need for it. Is there anyway to turn this feature off? seems like there should be
 
Your best bet would be to scroll through the settings menu and see if you can disable it.
 
Directions on how to disable are in the owner's manual, not the settings menu.

Post up again if you can't find it and I'll look again.

From the Manual:

The automatic unlock function can be
deactivated or activated. To deactivate or
activate the automatic door unlock system,
perform the following procedure:

1. Close all doors.
2. Place the ignition switch in the ON
position.
3. Within 20 seconds of performing Step
2, push and hold the power door lock
switch to the position (UNLOCK) for
more than 5 seconds.
4. When activated, the hazard indicator
will flash twice. When deactivated, the
hazard indicator will flash once.
5. The ignition switch must be placed in
the OFF and ON position again between
each setting change.
When the automatic door unlock system is
deactivated, the doors do not unlock when
the ignition switch is placed in the OFF
position. To unlock the door manually, use
the inside lock knob or the power door lock
switch (driver’s or front passenger’s side

I also got tired of doors locking automatically and making it hard for the people to get out when I drop them off while keeping the cr running. To deactivate or activate the automatic door lock system at 15 mph, try the following variation of the other post:

1. Close all doors.
2. Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
3. Within 20 seconds of performing Step 2, push and hold the power door lock switch to the LOCK position for more than 5 seconds.

why not just press the unlock as you park?
