just wondering about how much it would cost to get a decent paint job for my fx35. thinking of painting it black. i dont need a show-quality job, just something that looks good. thanks!

what color is it now? a decent paintjob changing the color involves taking everything apart... in my shop a job like this would be ~$5k... just doing the whole car same color without doing all the jambs would be in the $3k-3,500 range depending... of course you get what you pay for, I'd be afraid to go with a cheap job because at that point you'd be killing the value of your car... expect to spend at least 4k to do it black no matter who does it

I would always doubt a 3.5k paint job, 5k for a decent one perhaps, it will still not make you happy.
