I have the earlier model too, but I think it's time for it to go, heat sync issue, and it's 4 years old, plus with the new 3D TV I'd have to upgrade to one with 3D pass through anyways. Looks like I will be making a trip to BB.

I use Monster BPs, like these : http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-GLS-AUDIO...=US_Audio_Cables_Adapters&hash=item5aea5354d7, and am happy with them, got them together with my Monster Power Center. But the Sewell's looks good too, and great price for 12.
 
Thanks Adam. Those monster BP looks good and sturdy from the looks of it. I was trying to look for copper based with 24k gold plate but either they are too expensive or the ones I found from Nakamichi had so many knock offs floating around that you wouldn't know weather you got the real deal. I had to get a set and have it delivered in less than a week before the arrival of the 75" Samsung smart TV I purchased yesterday.
 
I agree, the knockoffs are getting better in looks, so it gets hard to tell them apart, especially if you buy on line. I used Monster products for a very ling time and am happy with the quality just takes time to looks for deals, because their retail pricing is a bit ridiculous.

And congrats on the new TV!! 75" That's borderline movie theatre at home :) Congrats on a new toy :)

My new house I plan on adding a media room and wether go with 80" or a HiDef projector.
 
Thanks Adam. I was initially considering a projector too but my media room does not have enough depth for he purpose. I may have to consider the Monster BP.
 
Anytime, the only thing I am not sold on a projector now, is that LED TVs are so crisp and sharp, something that I don't see in projectors now, they are more like DLP TVs used to be.

One thing to know about Monster products, if you gonna buy it retail, that you can actually talk them down on price, since Monster pays the retailers for pushing their products, so they will want to make a sale ;-) but then you can usually find a better deal on eBay or on line. Just FYI.
 
Projectors are great if you have a pitch black room. And even with that, they are still pretty pricey. I love my plasma, but since those are going the way of the Dodo, LED will be my next TV.

maybe because despite the BF around the corner, some so called "deals" are actually not deals at all LOL. Or are we all camping in front of your favorite stores until Friday?

I'm swinging by Wal Mart later to buy something for cheaper that I already have so I can return the unopened copy for full price. Although there's a good chance I'll get there and be like ahh hell naw and just leave. Tomorrow morning I'm going by the Fox store because they have 40% storewide. I've been wanting some shoes, and now I can try them on as well. They only have 30% online but I guess the store could be sold out or something.
 
I don't have a computer but still tempted on Lightroom 5 haha.

60 inch 120 hertz should be easy to find! 240 might be hard as far as deals go
