Dashboard / Cover/ Replacement Options 2008 Fx

Hello everyone,
Just lost my 2010 FX to Hurricane Ida flooding in September. Found myself a 2008 with 52k Miles. Only issue is the dashboard. The previous owner used a coverlay dash-cover but the color is completely wrong! I am looking to find the right name for the color of my dash so I can choose properly. The the bottom half of the dash is tan the top is gray but I don’t know the exact color and can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know the color it could be ? Also any suggestions what cover to go for coverlay or accuform.. or any other suggestions?

I just replaced my dash with an oem part and I believe the color was just called "Black". It is actually a very dark grey. Unfortunately, the Coverlay cover comes in 15 colors and I doubt that any of them completely matches the oem color. The black is probably too dark and the dark grey may be a little too light. What color is the coverlay that is on there now?

Few pictures of the car. I can take better tomorrow it’s dark out but that’s the color they chose. The dash is some kind of almost taupe/ gray or stone gray that compliments the tan leather . The dash is terrible.

These are off the dealers sight I purchased it from. Only had it now for a few weeks. I have plans to do the dashboard, the radio, plenum spacer, stilled cold air intake and exhaust right now. I hope to find some good suggestions here.

I have the Coverlay or Accurform and I'm really happy with it to keep the OEM look. I believe its paintable, so maybe think of that as a option to dial in the exact color a lot better.

Thank you for the suggestion. Would you mind posting a picture of your dash? Do you know which you purchased? The cover lay seems to have the better reviews. The accuform for me has the better style particularly by allowing the speaker on the center of the dash to show. Though the accuform has not got good reviews that I seen. I’m also considering going to an upholsterer tomorrow see if the can wrap the original dash with a comparable material and color.

I can take a pic for you later. For some reason I seem to think that Coverlay is one year range and Accuform is another year range. The only difference I remember is the way the different companies did the airbag cover.

I was fortunate enough today to find an auto upholstery shop that does this often. They have a connection to get the dashboard and can install it. I guess my concern is now going to be making sure this one doesn’t bubble.. I’m going for it though, it’s kind of pricey but not as bad as others I’ve seen. If all goes right next Sunday it will be finished.
