looks good john, how would you rate the fitment of the dash kit to the edges?

It's pretty accurate. No lumps or uneven cuts. Used a blow drier to warm the pieces up before applieing it. Bought the kit on ebay. 50 bucks To me all the kits look the same. Ebay sellers all word their auctions different. High priced ones are overhyped. I checked out a good amount of dash kits online and local. All look the same.

not to hijack this thread, and sorry if i am, but i was wondering if you guys could tell me which one of these examples below would suit my FX better, note that mine's an 05 with wheat interior. not a very big fan of the third example myself but would like to know more what you guys think....

that does look really good but don't think that would blend in so beautifully with the wheat interior compared to a black interior.

Here is my aluminum dash kit. I didn't use all of the pieces because it would be an overkill. Only used the vents and around the radio pieces.

i like ur kit, it looks great. we have the same interior color also. i think i will just use a few of the pieces. i was a bit worried because the kit pieces are not a 100% match with the real oem pieces.

ya soon as i get the dash kit and chrome pillars on ill take some pix. i already ordered the pillars and just gona pick a dash kit today or tomorrow.

also getting a compustar pro installed this weekend.


Nice choice on alarms. I had a compustar pro installed. Works really well. Don't forget to get the "Drone Mobile".

ya the alarm is good. its the compustar pro top model with glass break sensor and radar sensor, yes overkill ha. how do i add the drone mobile service?

i was wondering how did you guys apply your kit? does it snap on, or glue etc.?

Very thin double side SM tape.... Clean the area with alchohol or windex, peel off the backing, line it up well and get after it.
