Somebody backed up into me while I was parked. Came back and saw this... cracked chrome molding, slight dent....Went to the dealer he quoted me $300 to fix and paint the bumper not the black plastic...What do you guys think, leave it alone for now or fix it up. Chrome molding is $100 extra....

eventually you will have to fix it. Have you asked around for a quote? stealership can't be the only one who can fix this. still seems cheap. sorry to see bad luck came to bite you today.

I hope not, they were booked till next week anyway and I've asked another private body shop, they quoted me $400 with paint. I'm deciding btw pvt vs dealer... Dealer I'm hoping would be more of a guarantee...

Can anyone from NYC recommend a good quality shop maybe with fair prices?? I've seen Turbocad does some good work...

not including the chrome molding that would cost like $300 to do it on the car, and the better way for a more perfect job if your picky is to remove the bumper completely to do it which would make it then be a $400 job. most decent shops are going to all be around similar in price really. weather you should do the $300 way or the $400 way is up to you and your attitude towards it. if your always parked on the street and chances are it's going to get bumped around again, or you've got other little bumps and bruises around the car and your not very picky then a $300 fix up may be more than good enough, if your picky and the rest of the car is really nice then it may be worth the extra $100 to remove it and do it right, it's def a cleaner job, but it could also be done nice even without removal too

if you need someone to do a good job let me know and I'll pm you my number.
