Dallas Mini Meet 8/15/09

Not really... the Galleria parking garage can be a bear. Especially considering all of the 'back-to-school' shopping that will probably go down that weekend.
 
My friend said there's another place up the tollway from there a little and has alot of room because some store there went out of business. I think it's by the Robbins Brothers ring store.
 
So whats the plan anyways? I was thinking maybe we can all meet up and have lunch somewhere first.. get to know each other over some food and drinks and then head some place to take pics and take it from there..

Jumbo, what part of Dallas are you gonna be at?

The place by Robbins Bros that went out of business is "Shoe Pavilion". The address is 14060 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75240 and they have a huge open parking lot.

Jumbosrule - Brad (20% likely...don't think I'll make it, unfortunately). If the stars align and I make it out, it will be only for the meet, so I have no set plans where to go or stay. I could do a hotel or call up some friends in the area. I'll try to let all of you know as the weekend gets closer - really hope it works out.
 
Chris, just tell your work that theres a 50% chance you'll show up to work:wink:

Sorry Brad, if it were my house, I'd offer you a place to stay, but I doubt my in-laws probably wont like me offering up their house hahaha
 
You can stay at my house haha. Just show up and I won't tell my parents. If it helps you cone, I will ask them though.

Awesome! So you in san antone right now huh? We always loved going to dirty nellies right there on the river walk. And we usually stay at that hilton right above it, so we don't have too far to stumble lol.
 
I'm definitely in...

I actually know the property manager of the entire complex (was inside of the vacant Shoe Pavilion twice in the past two months-- long story).

Hopefully more 'last minute' Dallas folks will decide to join.

BTW, I can confirm that the address 14060 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75240 entered into Garmin GPS will get you there.
