Curious about FX35 vs EX35

Since there is minimal power difference between the two (FX35 and EX35), would the EX35 win in a straightline given that its lighter? Is it the same engine too? So any mods available for the FX35 would be available for the EX35?

Curious about this. Wife said she saw a 'smaller version' of her car yesterday, and I assured her it was a EX35, and it got me thinking, I wonder which was quicker :)

the 2011-2012 EX's finally came with the 7-speed transmission, 2008-2010 EX35's had the 5-speed automatic

the new EX's are a little faster than the FX but very marginal. The EX is a softer suspension and the FX actually handles just as great with its wider stance and stiffer chassis
