He guys,

Searched around the forum to find a solution for my problem but nothing useful found so far.
Thing is, few day's ago during driving on the high way i wanted to switch on the cruise control but when activating i noticed the "cruise" light comes on as normal but also the "set" light came on and kept blinking.
Switching off and on does not help, using the cruise control buttons doesn't do anything either.
When switching the engine off and start again it works intermittent, if it works it does as per normal operation.

Anyone here seen this before or know a solution for this?
Does the car has a separate control module for the cruise control that might be faulty?

Another thing that happend that trip was that the hood popped loose during driving (around 70mph), shit myself when i heard the noise and see the hood pop up but obviously it can't open completely without releasing the manual latch.
Maybe i didn't close it properly, or is there something to adjust that latch?

Do you have the adaptive CC or ICC? If you do, you might want to check the laser scanner if not covered by dirt or mud.

Some times if too much dirt, ice or snow blocking the sensor it will trigger error message

Been on the road today all day and been using cruise control most of the time.
I've had no malfunctioning all day long, don't know what is going on with the car.

Maybe time to buy myself a OBD diagnostic tool to check, anyone a good recommendation for an diagnostic tool?
I would like to use it on both of my cars, the other one is a 2007 350Z, would be nice to have one that can do both cars.

look at the front of the car beside the passenger fog light. if there is a black box there thats your icc sensor. if you want cruise control when that icc is dirty, hold the cruise button for few secs and it will be just " cruise control"

No sensor, i have the basic cruise control.
It's been ok all day but i am afraid it will show up again soon, if it doesn't work you realise how comfortable it actually is
