Crankshaft pulley

my harmonic balancer/crank shaft pulley has come loose for the second time. There is a keyway on the crankshaft itself but no keyway on the pulley itself. there is a hole for a dowel, so i am just looking for some clarification on re and re the pulley.Since it came loose it rounded a bit of the outside edge of the where it seats so i am going to look around for a new/used one but i am still unsure what holds the pulley in place besided the main bolt.

The key on the crankshaft should slide into a groove on the pulley. Pictures would help. The pulley is held on by a bolt and aligned with a key.

2008 Manual says to tighten to 93.1 N·m (9.5 kg-m, 69 ft-lb), then put a paint mark on the edge of the bolt and the crank pulley, then turn another 90 degrees.
