Cracking insulation/wire wraps

Hey all, not sure if I am using the proper technical term for my description, but as the title says, I am noticing some cracking in the insulation wrapped around the wire harness that you have to move while changing spark plugs. Just wondering if this is something to be concerned about? If so, is this a DIY's repair? Any input would be great. Thanks.

Personally i would worry to much it is because of the heat and after awhile insulation gets old. You can buy that stuff and re do it might be a pain but.

The plastic wire loom is what is cracking. Any auto parts store sells loom for pretty cheap. You can also wrap over the old cracked loom with new electrical tape.
