Cracked Window Trim

Are you going to be doing this? I will take a few photos as well.

It sounds like Infiniti doesn't want to fix this, so we may need to go about it another way. I'm thinking if we show how many people have it, maybe something can be done, like with the dash.

hmmm...I'm very surprised this is not covered. It's a manufacturer defect. Like the wood peeling int he 2009+ or the dash.

Here are my pics. Two cracks on each side.

I have this type of crack on the rear driver's side trim. The crack looks a natural break of trim connection looking more like a joint. Oddly I did not notice this on the opposite side. I'll take a picture tomorrow with better lighting.

I have the same cracks on both driver and passenger sides on mine . I think this is where I am getting an excess amount of road noise in the back on the highway now that I think about it.

Much better! If silver was the only fix, I'd turn it down and keep my crack. But that because of my "odd" FX color. Some paint colors just need certain trim colors.

Black chrome would look great. Don't mean to change the subject but my pillars looked like they were sanded down. So many problems with the window trims! Easily fixable though. I would've gotten black piano but they were out so I got the carbon fiber.

Just looked today and I have a single straight line crack on the drivers side as well. I wonder if anyone from Infiniti cruises these forums and wants to get some customer satisfaction points?

I really want to mail them a packet with each page has a picture of each crack, and document how many FX's and how many cracks. And that only represents a small fraction of all FX's out there.
