Cquartz Ceramic coating just look at the results

Just wanted to share my story in case anyone is considering taking care of their vehicles exterior paint with Ceramic Coating…We purchased a couple of months ago a minty 2012 FX and having worked at a one of the largest Car groups in Montreal including Porsche, Audi…etc. I know and have seen firsthand that all delivered cars and regardless of the dealership and brand lacked the level of perfection we car enthusiasts expect.

Dealerships simply do not have the time money resources or care to detail the car to the level of our obsessive standards. We simply did a simple wash and the few times the car needed some paint correction or touch-ups a quick compound buffing and voila…the average customer would not even notice but I have seen evident swirl marks, holograms and pigtail galore…

Since I wanted to keep this car for a long time I decided to invest some money to one of the best local detailer in the greater Montreal area,

He did a basic paint correction and then sealed everything with the original Cquartz Nanotechnology Ceramic coating which basically bonds to paint at a molecular level, effectively becoming a functional element of the vehicle’s surface. This coating’s hard hydrophobic, glass-like finish helps to protect your vehicle from weathering, UV-damage, industrial and organic fallout, acids, alkalines, light wash-marring and abrasion for up to 2-years whilst making it easier to clean than ever before. I will have to maintain it a few times a year…

For reference i had OptoCoat Pro on our old EX35 and after 3 years it was still performing admirably...Cquartz should be comparable

It looks very good. I still prefer to polish and apply my favourite sealant once a year.

There is no right or wrong, what matters is knowing how to decontaminate the paint and remove delicately the scratches, swirls and imperfections without affecting the clear coat...I opted for ceramic coating for practicality and convenience. The car needed paint correction to bring the depth shine and gloss back and I said why not seal it with ceramic since I had a very positive experience with a similar product in the past :good:

Definitely looks good and is maintenance free. I am retired so I have lots of time to play with my car, lol
