Couple gtr wheel questions.

Hey guys. Got a couple questions about the gtr wheels before they arrive in hand.

I'm picking up a staggered set while my car is in the body shop getting fixed after an accident. 10k off front end damage and they're fixing it.

Anywho, will the staggered fitment need anything at all? I hear some people run spacers with the 9.5 fronts to make them more flush? I am lowered on h&r springs. I am ordering some black spline lug nuts tomorrow for them.

Also tires. I have a set of 275-45-20 now. Will they work on both wheels until I can get some 295s?

anything else I should know before I try to mount these all up?

Most people put the spacer in the front just bring it out flush similar to what the rear looks like without a spacer. One thing you may want to think about is rolling the fender liner in the rear because it's a piece of metal that sticks straight out into the wheel and will cut into yout tire.

275/45 should work because they show minimum width of 8.5 and max of 10.5 so both GTR wheels fall in that range.

Only other thing I can think of is if you get directional tires with the staggered wheels, just know that you can't rotate the wheels, you'd have to rotate the tires since each wheel/tire can only go on a specific corner. Make sure the shop doesn't mess it up either. I had the dealer mount my rear tires backwards one time after rotating them.

Awesome, that should make stuff easier. I guess you could wait and see if you rub on springs. I bet just driving around you won't but if you get enough travel for whatever reason you might.

I run a shop, so no issue there haha! Thanks!

So I guess no problem on that 10k repairs either. Some guys have all the luck.

275/45 should work because they show minimum width of 8.5 and max of 10.5 so both GTR wheels fall in that range.

On this note, would there be a noticeable stretching of the tire? I ran staggered too and I always wonder about this.

I think if you had the front and rear next to each other they would look different, but not near as bad as the hallaflush crowd trying to put 225's on 10.5's.
