Coolant tank/container?

I tried doing a search, but couldn't find anything that would answer my question. I noticed recently that my coolant container (the big white plastic thing next to the windshield washer resevoir) has a crack on it. I have an 04 so maybe its due to age? But anyway, my question is where can I get a replacement? I tried looking through infinitipartsusa.com, but cannot find anything close to a coolant tank/container. Would this be a part that an Infiniti dealer would carry/install? It looks like it wouldn't be hard to install. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And also, what is the actual name of this container? Thanks!

Dealer item. You could do a temporary repair with some two part plastic weld--

Yes thats definitely something I could do in the mean time to prevent the coolant from leaking, but I do want to replace it to be on the safe side. I could get an aftermarket, but ours are mounted. I want to make sure it stays put and doesn't slide around. BTW, thanks to you to everyone who gave their input.

That's because of the profile illustration, but that is the right part for you.

Ok thanks! I just wanted to make sure I was getting the right part.

ebay had 2 of those not sure now but worth a check

I've already ordered it through infinitipartsusa.com so I can't back out now as they charge a 20% restocking fee. But thank you for the tip, someone else might need them. Now I just have to figure out if I should/can install it myself or take it to a dealer/body shop.

Very easy to swap,

Unplug the hose, unscrew 1 bolt, and lift the reservoir up.

Sounds easy enough. This may be a silly question, but should I empty the container before I start taking it apart? And since we're on the topic of coolant, any recommendation as to which brand I should use?

I would empty it...or remove the container tilt it and then remove the hose. I have been using Peak Long Life mixed with distilled water for a few months with no problems, formula of peak is very similar to Nissan's brand. ///4330&highlight=coolant

if you leave the hose connected at the bottom of the tank & disconnect it up by the radiator, you can pull the tank out with the fluid in it...
