Anyone using these tires?
They got excellent reviews, but I haven't heard from anyone on an FX.
The one recommend for the FX is the 4x4 Contact, but the reviews on this one are not that good.
Any other recommendation? I'm still on 18's.
 
I have these. Pretty quiet tires over my OEM bridgestones. Haven't noticed any great mileage increase, though. Not much of a review, but nothing really to complain about. They were recommended to me by my Tire guy on my route. He knows that money is not an issue with my tires on my cars, and these are what he said to get for the FX. I have them about 13 months now. Did great last year in the snow for NYC. Its no dedicated snow tire, but got me to work 18 miles from home. And NYC at times is notorious for plowing half ass. Oh, I also keep them inflated at 34-35psi year round. Hope that helps. One more thing, handles curves well...pretty stiff sidewalls compared to my Conti DWS on my dd.
 
No, I haven't got them yet. I was about to when the shop didn't recommend them due to the speed rating being T.
I even spoke to a tire rack rep and he didn't recommend them either for our cars.
I'm still doing some researches and the Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Plus looks promising, but the LX20 has outstanding reviews.
I might start another thread on this tire.
 
Just looked at the speed rating for T...its 118mph/190kmh. And the load rating is 110. Well above the recommended. It's your call at the end of the day. I am happy with mine. I am interested in hearing about the Pirellis. That could be an option for the future. Keep us updated.
 
I also have them for about 1month now! so far I like them, although I still prefer yokohoma avid its much aggressive look, but LX20 was on sale when I got it ($140ish each after rebate)
