Considering a QX70

Just finish a 2000 miles road trip with my 2017 QX70S. Love the power of this 3.7L engine. I came off a 2003 FX45 and I can say I don't miss the power! Before I install the CAI intakes and ARK CBE, I definitely miss the hum of a V8! But with these mods in... I'm all in for the 3.7L engine!

Agreed, simple answer - do it! I second the power comment. When I get a free second this summer I’ll be tuning mine as well (ark cbe, filters installed). Can’t wait!

What are the power increases with these mods?

Ark 10-15, filters 1-5, my shop estimates after those mods the tune should get ~300hp to the wheels.

That's more than I expected. Has anyone ever posted dyno charts or track times of stock and/or after mods tune? Is there a mods/performance section somewhere that I'm not seeing?

I’ve seen it on YouTube but only for the 5.0L. I’m targeting late July/early August for my time and I’ll post details then.

Figured I would post in this thread as well. Take a look at my lengthier response in my garage if you want to get my take on things, but here is my dyno before/after. Hope this helps!

Yup! Honestly the torque is what you really feel. That increase takes away all the lag from the gas pedal and makes a fun car that much more fun to drive.

Have to bring it in. They have an AWD dyno so they are able to program it that way. Granted I really don’t know much about the process from a technical standpoint but that is my understanding.

If you wanted to know, the shop is called RT Tuning, in Montgomeryville PA.
