Airsuspension (airrunner) or coilovers?

Also who knows, where can be purchased each of them?

Arethere any problemswhen using theairsuspensionin the winter.

Coilovers, in my research the air suspension kits almost always leak. It is not a matter if it will, but when it will. And the last thing you want happening is your air leaking out while your driving down the road! Just my opinion, someone else may chime in with better info on the longevity of the air kits but again from what I have heard and seen they all leak over time.

Yup, air suspension = hassle, too much upkeep and unreliable. Pretty sure a custom AS can be done. There are no coilovers at the moment for a 2nd gen

XYZ, D2 Racing, Ksport and NEX make them for 2nd generation.

I stand corrected. But aren't these just prototypes that are not mass produced yet? Or Chinese crap no one would buy anyway?

NEX might be made in mainland China and has good/bad reviews -- I think more bad reviews, enough to stay away from.

XYZ, D2 Racing, Ksport -- I believe these are from the same factory in Tawian, rebadged. My guess is these are on par with BC Racing/Megan Racing.

These are not prototypes, readily available online or eBay.

I have had air ride on a previous vehicle , if all the conections are done correctly you do not have to worry about leaks.
(3 years on bags then switched to hydros for more lift)
coilovers will give you a much better ride over air ride.

I can tell allot of people have not played around with Air Ride on here.

I have had air ride on my SRT8 Magnum for 25,000 Miles so far with NO problems, no leaks, nothing. I have it set up with Auto Ride, mine is set up to air down when I park, and then airs back up to a preset ride height. You don't have to mess with switches or anything. There are two VERY important steps in making a Air ride system be dependable and no leaks:

1. But a GOOD System, Don't buy Air runner, Air Ride, Air lift, I run and sell Universal Air Suspension. It IS the best, Zach one of there techs has 185,000 miles on his Air ride system, he drives his magnum EVERYPLACE! The only thing he had to replace was a compressor under warranty.

2. Take your time on the install, air leaks come from rushing the install.

Air ride and Coilovers are two different animals, I have ran BC Coilovers, I have ran Eibach lowering springs, and now I'm on bags and will stay on bags and never look back.

coilovers are very easy to install, you don't have to worry about running the air line, have the tank, compressors and what not.

Air Ride takes longer to install, but you can adjust it ANYTIME on the fly, Say your low, very low, and you see a driveway with a sharp angle, you can just bump up your suspension and drive up it, were with coilovers, your going to drag your front bumper, or under side.

Also there is nothing like a fully dropped car, It changed the look on my magnum like no other!

I hope that kinda helps, People give Air Ride a bad name because they buy these half ass kits that don't have the nice fittings, and nice compressors, and what not, and they blow a bag and say all Air suspension is bad.

I sell both, so I just want you to be happy with what you get, You will spend more on Air Suspension, but you do get more, You kinda have to ask your self, " What am I using this car for?" I see you live in Russia, not sure how the weather is there. I just enjoy having the flexibility of not having to take all my tires up, jack it up, to adjust my suspension.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here is my magnum with Air ride and the wireless remote system:

I would think a good air ride setup should cost double the price of a coilover setup with all the bags, fittings, lines, tank, compressors(I would run 2) gauges, valves and switches.

If my FX was not my daily I would have run bags on it...Maybe a bag over coil set up someday.

You would be surprised on the cost of Air ride. If you compare a good coilover to the air ride. Its not that much more, I have made up the kits for Air Ride for different Stages. That way the customer can kinda name there price and get the best for the best price. EVERY kit comes with 2 compressors. There are different sizes of compressors for different fill rates, Different size tanks, polished ect ect.

Here is one of our Kits for the Dodge LX platform.

And what is nice with these, is they are designed to be a bolt in, no drilling, welding nothing.

Also you can use your factory struts, but we can set you up with a KONI shock / strut to get you extra low.

Fill free to check out our site.

Also, I would have to check with UAS and see if they even have a kit :)

I sent off a E-mail to them asking.

I will post up my findings :)

Ok, so UAS has done the older FX35/45. But has not done the new FX50 yet. BUT, they said they can, they would just need some pictures of the suspension. SO yes we can make it happen.

I'm sure they would give a pretty heave discount to someone that would like to test it.

That is why they need some pictures to see how different the two Gen's are.

This is not there first time doing Air Suspension lol.
