Codes P0300 and P0304...

I was on my way out to my parent's house tonight with about 1/4-1/2 mile left to go I notice my '05 FX35 doesn't seem to have much power and is running a little rough. I also notice the CEL is flashing. I babied it the rest of the way to their house since I was so close.

My dad has a code reader so I hooked it up and it had two codes, P0300 and P0304. I left my FX there tonight and will get a new coil from the dealer and replace it tomorrow evening. I am assuming it is a bad coil (#4) and am willing to throw a new one at it to see if it solves the problem. My wife's RX300 had an almost exact episode and that's what it ended up being. If it doesn't fix it then I will have it towed to the dealer and let them figure it out.

My question is, is P0300 just a generic code for a misfire that will always be thrown along with any other specific code like P0304? I mean is it safe to assume that it is only an issue with cylinder #4 since that is the only cylinder specific code it threw?

Also, cylinder #4 is the middle one on driver side, correct?

It sounds like the P0300 code always accompanies a P030X code depending on which cylinder has the issue.

Currently searching the cylinders numbers as I'm not sure off the top of my head.

Edit: Looks like you got it right.
