Hello. Sorry but there is no space to put my topic because i have an Fx 3.0 Diesel motor. S version of 2011.
The engine is the 3.0 V6 238 horsepower.
I appeared the following message in the ECU with the yellow light engine.
"P0488 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Throttle Position Control Range/Performance"
I have read with an odb2 wifi interface on Iphone.
The light was then turned off, but occasionally the engine lacks power up to 1700 rpm and then rises regularly. The ECU does not allow in any case to travel with higher gears and tends to keep the engine revs low changing gears in advance. It 'clear that the engine occasionally enters the protection. I noticed that recently was inserted too often clean the catalyst. At the end of one of the cleaning has presented the problem.
Do you have any advice? i'm practical mechanics and electronics therefore I can verify independently check if there is to check some sensor. If not I'll have to go to the mechanical.
Is very difficult to find a forum to write the problem because this motor is only for Europe market.
I'm triing to find informations.
