Clunk

I am curious if: When you are parked at an angle either up or down when you shift from park to any gear the transmission has a audible clunk. Is this normal and is their a way to avoid this?:confused: When level shifts smoothly.
 
Never stray from these sequences:

Parking
D -> foot on brake until stopped -> P -> engage ebrake -> foot off brake.

Driving
P -> Foot on brake -> D -> release ebrake -> foot off brake.
