While driving up a friends steep driveway (approx. 70% grade) at no more than 5 MPH I heard and felt a loud grunt comming from the front under carriage. I only have 14k miles on the F. It has never done this before. It felt like a sub frame shifting or loose suspension component . I wonder if it is due to the AWD being engaged (being under 12 MPH) and trying to slip one or more wheels like when you are on dry pavement with hard 4 wheel drive axles?
Once back on a level street there wasnt any more noise while either stopping/starting /hard acceleration. We have some pretty steep driveways here in North GA, especially dificult if it ever snows.
Anyone have any Ideas? It is still under waranty.
