Climate Controlled Seats and AC question

Im having this issue too but not only does the knob turn off , the climate control (AC dashboard ) goes on the fritz, either the climate will switch from 70-75-70-75 or it will freeze at one temperature or the whole thing wont turn on or is stuck on, til i turn the car on and off again, any ideas why this is happening? could the passenger seat be triggering all this?
 
Are there any pics or an IPC drawing of this tube? I have had this issue since the beginning. Passenger seat will run fine with nobody in itbut driver seat doesn't best well. Sometimes I can barely feel anything, sometimes it's blazing hot.
