clicking or clink in transmaission FX50

Hey guy my 2010 FX50 has a clinking sound from the transmission (like a beer bottle tapped with a spoon) I hear it if driving slowing with the windows down and I press and release the gas gently, loading and unloading the transmission. Similar to a click you hear when going from reverse to a drive gear. Can anyone tell if is this is normal.

I dont think any clicking noise in the transmission can be good. Someone will chime in to help soon.

I've had and heard that in several Nissan / infiniti vehicles. Every one has ended up being the emergency brake. Exactly the way you describe it. Some I was able to eliminate with a good cleaning and adjustment, some got better but never went away.

I seems to have this clicking going on for some time now, now issues. What is the way to take a look at it? Any pictures or DIYs?

Beezer I have not heard that noise in my 2010 FX50.

I read through that DIY, so I would think that "clicking" would be constant if its rear axle click, right? I just went for a drive and carefully listened to my car. I only get a click or two when I am coming off complete stop (at the light, etc.)

all four tires need to be off the ground, flashlight and a long metal bar to feel for play..
