Infiniti QX70 Sport
2010 FX35 Infiniti AWD with 66k miles .
Recently i discovered clicking noise from driver side when turning steering wheel left / right .
The noise is here only when you turn wheels .
No any noise on HW or any kind of vibration .
Nothing was replaced on this car yet .
I am not familiar with Infiniti suspension , tried to check underneath and all i can see is slight movement in upper control arm
connected to strut and weak sway bars on both sides
Any ideas ? From my BMW experience i think to replace sway bars first
Also I do have CPO warranty , i hope suspension is coverage ?

I have the same problem i hear it when im parking all the time, i was wondering about it too i just assumed its normal lol

if you have the CPO dont touch it and take it to dealer, there could be many things

I hear this sometimes too. Ever since I've had it at 20k miles and now I'm at almost 90k with different brakes rotors etc.

I had this problem at about 20,000 miles as well. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the strut. They supposedly replaced the strut on my passenger side and the noise went away. Now the noise is back on my drivers side. My car was under warranty the first time, now is not and I'm dreading my next trip to the dealer lol.

Interesting....I had brought it up to the dealership back awhile ago. They looked into it and said that it happens sometimes on the FX50S. Has to do with the calipers/brakes when the steering wheel is typically turned all the way it can sometimes get stuck. They had mentioned it was normal behavior after making a few phone calls. That's all I remember.

Infiniti tends to overstate the word 'normal' in there vocabulary. Years ago, I had a bad control arm that wobbled the car and hopped the right wheel. 2 infiniti dealers stated that this was normal, i was so close to side/roundhousekick the service advisors and managers

I had what sounds like the same issue at around 15,000 miles on my 2010 fx50 (sounded like a single metal on metal click/clank when turning the wheel in either direction) it did it for me at low speeds and when turning the wheel, such as turning into a parking spot. For me, it turns out there was damage to the steering column (not sure how). It was under warranty when the fix was done, they replaced the column. Haven't heard a click since, I've got 66k on it now. I will go through my records and try to see what it was exactly.

Never replace only one strut as the second will go out very fast
only in pair

I have same issue since I bought the car 2nd hand and milage was 20 Kkm and it is 180 Kkm. Dealership they said it is normal and now the car starting to swing and pul to the left with littile vibration and still they are saying it is normal :D.
