Clear Coat Brush On Paint For Caliper

Anybody have any experience or can suggest a clear coat brush on to paint calipers? I recently painted my calipers and decaled them but I want to protect the decal if possible. I'd rather use a brush on because the application would be easier vice spraying and having to mask everything again. My main goal is to cover the decal only and not needing to remove the wheels. Thanks
 
not a great idea to try & brush it I think. also, keep in mind that even if you do clear it, the adhiesion between the decal & the base paint will not be improved, so even though it's cleared it could still lift under the clear, although the clear can help a litle to keep the edges glued down... honestly, with a decal, I'd say leave it & see how durable it is, if you have to change a decal once a year not so bad, where if the decal lifted under clear then your screwed & have to completely redo them...


if the decal is not durable enough I'd recommend using stencils & spraying the text on, that's what I do if I'm doing a caliper with text...
