Anybody with the cipher software know if it can pull the wideband data from our fx's? And, also a good place to buy it?
 
Don't know about the wideband but ShadyJC was selling his. I think he'd know if iy can pull wideband data as well..
 
If it's an 05+ you can enter the ecu number and it will give you both bank AF ratios. Pre 05s are narrow band sensors.

My build date on the label is 08/04 but I have a 2005 fx35, is there any other way to tell if I have wideband 02's? Also does cipher work on multiple cars? (I have a cobb ap for my wrx and it has to be married to one car).
 
where i can buy the cypher.. i've hear that i can move forward few ignition grade..

for me should be good to get extra performance of the 105 octane of the LPG.

the cipher is cool, it is one of the only ways of advancing the stock timing 2 degrees. it also can adjust the idle speed... past those 2 things it's a nice monitoring & logging software, but really there is better obdII data interfaces available for less than half the price of the cipher, your paying hundreds more just to do a +2 bump & have access to a few other nissan specific things that aren't useful for performance but cool to have anyway...

I'm not saying it's bad or not worth it, just weigh all your options before spending $400+ on it, for example you could buy a utec turboXS piggyback unit that can really do way more, forget +2 across the board, you can build your own ign maps, your own fuel maps, it also does data logging & alot more, but you either have to find someone to tune it or learn how to use it yourself. that does way more but costs over $800...
 
i founded 2 degree so little!

but with cypher you cannot modify the default map? i have previous experience and basic skills tunning with my wideband for lpg use, but is the same.
how much far i can get using those setting, in terms of performance gains? like hp to the wheels? better takeoff! for drag race?

Since '05 and newer have wideband sensors could we hook something up to show AFR?
I was looking at this...

PLX DM-100 OBDII and am wondering if it would work or would you need an AF controller and wideband sensor?

Guess not, this is what they responded with...
"We do not currently support wideband AFR through the OBD II port. We are
looking at expanding the parameters that we offer through the OBD II port,
but we do not have a specific date for when this will be available."
