any pics of his work (180 custom)on FX headlights? and have him sign up that way he can work on our cars and his name will get around

thanks for this post! I too have seen his videos on youtube and was highly considering to send my headlights to him. i even bought a used pair from ebay, made phone calls to him and got a quote and everything, but everytime i tried to ship it to them, i'd get a huge bill to pay, guess it was a good thing! :smile (2): i'll def contact 180customs!

I told him i wanted to pay half up front and half when i get the lights but he said I have to pay the full amount because he has to get a set of housings and all the parts upfront since i'm not sending my lights in. So our deal is he supply a set of housings to modify, send them to me.. i re & re to my vehicle and ships him back my oem housings to him. He then re-credit me back a fund for my oem housings. That's understandable so i went and pay him. He does not accept pay pal. I wired at my bank but kept a statement and receipt. I just msged him again demanding to have infos on my lights and if my lights are not ready by the end of this week that i want my money back. Lets wait and see what happens. I'm still trying to get this resolve in a calm professional manner..its up to him how he wants it to go. Thing is I'm from Toronto..and he's in Cali..that's a great distance for me to take legal action no? I'm ready to bash and spam all over the net and on their youtube videos if this doesnt get solved. I think at this point it's better to get my money back and take my bussiness elsewhere since it wont be the last time i'll have to deal with them ..if i get my lights, there'll probably be all kinds of problem with it or i'll have a hassle time getting them fixed them down the road if something goes wrong with the lights..

Hollywood: WOW bro, damn i didnt expect you to have problem with them too. Especially they're your sponsor. You figure they would take good care of you. This just show that dude is a clown.

I dont understand how the heck they get to where they are working like this and dont they have any self asteam? He actually think its ok the way he is to his customers? If ppl like that get to where they do...we all should be 10 times better than where he's at. Cincity showed they have alot of great looking lights and work..but all that to me right now is just being posers..
 
I can tell you with this kind of rep they're not going to be in business long. Hope everything works out for you man
 
your mistake is going with what he said as a company he should have accepted Pay-Pal, and as a company he should have given you the invoice for full amount with half payment up front and half when work is done, seems to me these guys are just in a shop messing around for the hell of it and making people look stupid.
 
wow, man that sucks... I've done some custom headlights & I too have gotten into that same thing of it taking forever to finish them & still not finishing some even... unless you've done these things before it's hard to imagine how something like this can go on for so many months & months, a year or more even, especially when you start playing with highly custom instead of just spraying & sticking leds in there... but, for me there were 2 main differences, 1 being that it's not my business, just side hobby type stuff & 2 is that I never ever took any money for anything from anybody, not one penny let alone hundreds... I used my own money to buy lights & materials & if I never finished them then it was my loss, not anyone elses...

unless you can deliver a solid reliable ETA that is agreable to both parties from the beginning it's not fair to take someones money & then play on there dime... I can honestly say that so far I have lost thousands of $$$ playing with this stuff, BUT that was my money & my loss, had it been others $$$ then I could see something like this really hurting my reputation, & honestly my reputation & my word is worth more to me than any $$$ out there... to me that is where they screwed up, taking your money before delivering the goods, & all the money??? that's just plain stupid... at that point what incentive do they even have to finish your lights? they already got paid & spent the money long ago... man, that is just BAD business, I never like to take money in advance... it's a mental thing too, the payment is incentive & drive to finish the job, without that it gets even harder to have the same drive... hell, even with the incentive of getting paid it can be hard to finish, without that?? not good...
 
Sorry to hear about all the trouble people are having with this guy. Hope it gets worked out for everyone. I only trust John with my mods, but you have to be patient, haha j/k John :wink:
 
haha, yeah, you know first hand, what was it, around a year for your headlights?:tonguey: sorry bro, but believe me, I know the feeling... I'm waiting like a year now to get my fx runing again so at least we know I don't discriminate, I even make myself wait & wait when real work gets in the way :frown: none of this would be acceptable once someone takes money for something though, which is the real problem with what they did here I'd say...
