Chrysler & Fiat announce partnership. Alfa coming to US?

Alfa Romeo is, at least design-wise, one of my favorite brands. I hope this deal goes through well and we see the Fiat 500, Brera, MiTo & 8C rolling in US streets..

It's a good move for Fiat and a desperate move for Chrysler IMO. Chrysler with its current lineup, engines and quality can't sell anything in Europe but Fiat has been looking for an Alfa return to US for a long while. As for 500, I think it'll be a good hit. I like the Abarth version minus the wheels:

I love Alfa too but more from an aesthetic perspective. My big issue with them is that they are all show and no go. Which is the exact opposite of how I think. They do make very sexy cars though.

Looks like one standard production Alfa will make you think that twice:

Yeah that MiTo GTA looks like it will be a very fun little hot hatch. Still not digging that front end though. I wonder how much it would be in the US? Performance specs?
