chrome trim to replace fading trim?

hey guys, i'm sure this has been answered often before, but i couldn't find it through search. I'm pretty sick of looking at the fading trim above/around the windows. looks awful no matter which product i try to polish them up. i have an 07 FX and was curious about the chrome trim some people have/get. Where do i find it and what's the general price going to be?

also, i assume a lot of people who get the chrome trim also get those chrome pillars? eventually i need to figure out a way to keep that area below the rear bumper black as well. it's ugly.

thanks for the help

Its an 07 - your dealer should replace your faded black trim under warranty- mine did.

I agree with this logic ^^^^^ free before pay...

I have always thought about bringing my car to a vinyl shop to get the trim covered, but I don't like the paying part of it.

free vs. money. If something goes wrong you can bring it back and have them fix it, and enjoy driving a nice g37

They will hardly do it for free. I went to three different dealers, two which I knew both service and sales managers personally, and still were only able to replace the upper door trim. That's it. It'll cost ~300 to get them painted properly, I would just do that.

Dealer do more if you visit more often for regular service.

btw JB , hows it going at my350z? :eek.::rofl:

I'm sure it would take a couple years to start fading again, but painting does sound like a better option if you don't mind paying, vinyl too would be good, anybody know the price difference from vinyl and painting, both professionally done
