Chedman13's wheels - iForged Imola 24"x10"

Wow, Ed is now the celebrity. Looking real good Ed.
Hmm, I see they have corrected the rear specs, but still incorrectly stated the wheels are 22" in the introduction statement. I thought the wheels are a 2 piece, no?

I put on stilts today. Good thing I have a taller profile tire, but my winters will really look tall. Car still looks "decent' with the OEM springs. Probably the only one as I mentioned going from H&R's to OEM...

Thanks for Chris for the OEM springs, I gave my OEM springs away for free 2-3 years ago, so must be Karma.

Ride is noticeably not as smooth with OEM springs vs. H&R. Amazing the difference because H&R's are progressive and so smooth when not under pressure and the become rock solid handling when under load. I wonder if the OEM springs are progressive or not. Wish I could keep the H&r

Anyway, no more rubbing as I'm at least 2" taller, so sacrificing aesthetics for daily drive-ability. Wasn't so much of an issues as I can drive it carefully and it's fine (slow on driveways, full turns, etc...) but I'm not the only driver of this car.

Works out too anyways as the mid chassis was pretty low for winters and the front bumper is low too.

I felt the FX performed better with the Kooks and the H&R's but I'm pretty sure a LARGE % of that was based on the rubber as I haven't really pushed it hard since I put on the new tires. The kooks felt so much more planted. There is this tiny squeak on bumps and dips that makes me itch, not bad but its there....doesn't get worse, doesn't go away.

No major issues yet =)

that's called pillow ball mount =)

Once you notice it, you notice is ALL the time. Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak. But the thing is, you don't have you car -- so you can't notice it.

Sorry, Lance, that was a low blow.

As long as it's JUST above the belt I'm cool.....pillow ball mount was diagnosed buy Jeff (I think by yourself as well) has to be a cure for it right? Cowbell?

Yeah, its funny how you can obsess..I will roll down the window, turn off the music and listen to the squeak, can't do anything about it, so why? just to make myself crazy?
