Chedman13's wheels - iForged Imola 24"x10"

man, the tall tires really make it work. now it has the same profile as a 22" wheel fitment, just 2" larger. it wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good had it been on rubber band tires. excellent job in maxing it out man, knew it would be really close... with 1mm to spare :) , that's funny.

congrats on a job well done bro... you know it ain't really maxed out until you have a little rub somewhere :tongue (2):

Haha. Needs BBK. JK. Looks great.
The Scorpions are great tires. They slide a bit too much as they wear & take a lil bit longer to hook up, but they're predictable & quiet.

Damn ed your FX looks HOT!!!! Those wheels are really nice.... lol get some silver rails man it will make your rims and car pop a bit more!!! Congrats and enjoy!!!

I'm not gonna lie, I had my doubts about the 24s. Not only do they look way better than I expected but they look fantastic all the way around! Very, very nice work sir.

looks good glad to see with careful research that the 24's fit like 22's, I had the scorpions on the fx and they lasted me about 3 years and a few winters with no problem of traction until the snow packed in them. good choice any info on where you got the custom spacers???? might need some for the ls... by summer.

Don't worry, I did too. More like buyer's remorse after seeing how thin 285/30/24 tires were. Going to 285/35/24 makes a HUGE difference both visually and comfort wise.

Very Very nice Ed! All your hard research and patience really paid off. Nice job :top:

Thanks. I have a feeling you still prefer the 22's though=)

Thanks -- thought about silver rails, but notice the custom paint job? End cap and center rails are painted diamond graphite.

Tread design isn't that aggressive so I can see that. Look more like a highway tire tread design.

Looks great Ed! Everything fits together perfectly.

Thanks Stu.

Ched all I can say is "beautiful" I know you cant wait to rock them in the Spring

Time for you to stop by and check them out=)

that's heck of a clean look and fully flushed, loving the style.

Honestly wasn't going for fully flushed, just was trying to get some extra sidewall and get it to fit! But it all worked out to fully flushed!

Eye Spy something else new...

The wheels and the drop actually look good on the FX..

Side front profile with wheels look Sick... Better that I expected wit the new items....

Something to always look for when anyone decides to go with 24's is to avoid the Ghetto Look..

Ed's ride looks sporty and aggressive and by no means ghetto...

Definitely need to plan a photo shoot in the spring.

Thanks Humberto -- was afraid of that, but thankfully a 35 profile tire fit.

Good job Ed, she looks good with her new shoes.

Sent from my SGH-T989

Thanks.

Who wouldn't? That was pulled off perfectly. Ed Now you're a near twin with Bert

Ha, wheels are similar. He is running the Sprints (7 thick spokes) vs my Imolas (10 thin spokes).

Honestly the ghetto look was my biggest "breath holder" as I hadn't seen this set-up, it all works and it is stunning! Way to lay it out Ed, seriously, its not just about throwing down the cash its about perfect planning and making sure you have it all laid out correctly, do it once do it right.......Pretty sure I could still hear you biting your nails from Seattle =) Very, very nice and the W/T's compliment the new front bumper well!

Yeah, bit through all my nails...

I should apply to the Guinness book of world records...

Drooling.....

=) Thanks.

Did more driving today, the wheels and tires make for a surprisingly smoother ride than my 20's or 22's. On bumps it is more firm, especially with the added mid chassis. In a straight line, I compare the ride to be that of a Corvette C5.

Really impressed with these iForged wheels and Pirelli tires.
